August 19, 2021 to June 1, 2022
Thursdays @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
(For Upper Middle School Girls, grades 6-8)
Navigating the social world of middle school is tough. Making and maintaining real connections can be a struggle—especially in today's world.
Join us as we create a safe space for exploring self-identity, developing social and decision-making skills, practicing empathetic and productive discourse, and investigating what it means to belong.
The group meets weekly and provides hands-on ways to learn healthy communication (even when we don't see eye-to-eye,) social problem-solving, and managing emotions, such as anxiety, isolation, sadness, and frustration.
This group is ideal for you if you have:
Trouble finding sense of belonging
Struggles to enjoy school--may or may not have ADHD and/or anxiety
Interest in anime, art, creativity and online gaming
Strong sense of individuality and unique personal style
