VIRTUAL GROUP THERAPY
Support for Neurodiverse Couples
July 29, 2021 - ongoing
Thursdays @ 7:00PM - 8:00PM (CST) via ZOOM
This is a Support Group for couples in which one or both partners have Autism Spectrum Disorder/ Asperger’s Syndrome or ADHD (or you wonder if you/they do!) The purpose of this group is to provide support, information, education, interventions and hope for a more satisfying relationship.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Couples that include at least one partner characterized as high functioning and having Autism Spectrum/Asperger’s Disorders or moderate to severe ADHD often experience a mismatch of expectations, lifestyle, and needs. These mismatches tend to create misunderstanding, conflict, and unhappiness for both partners. Differences often go unnoticed or may not seem significant until later in the relationship. The impact of these differences can be confusing and overwhelming. This relationship pattern is occurring and being recognized much more frequently in just the past few years.
Led by Dr. Trent Everett
