(Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
for Parents of Children & Adolescents ages 6-17

TWO GROUP SESSION DATES:
September 14 - October 19, 2021
Tuesdays @ 11:00AM - 12:30PM (CST) via ZOOM
S.P.A.C.E is a parent-based group therapy treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety and OCD. Children and adolescents will not participate in group treatment. The treatment is aimed for children and adolescents experiencing social anxiety, separation anxiety, OCD, generalized anxiety, phobias, and health anxiety.
Parents participate in this group to learn skills to help their children overcome anxiety. Parents learn how to respond to anxiety supportively and how to reduce accommodation symptoms to reduce their child’s anxiety symptoms. Learn how parents can take the lead when children or adolescents are not ready to participate in therapy. Mindfulness and self-compassion strategies will be interwoven with group treatment.
