This summer, Skill Crafters presents a transformative workshop-style therapy group aimed at empowering your child to bolster their social skills, autonomy, and personal identity. Step into our welcoming space to learn important life skills without any fear of judgment. From boundary setting to effective communication, emotional regulation, teamwork, and social problem-solving; our workshop covers it all. It’s a collective voyage of personal development, alongside fellow group members who are on similar paths.

We will encourage self-care practices and guide participants in discovering their unique strengths and self-identity in a world of endless possibilities. Through hands-on experiences and open conversation within our group, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery and skill enhancement. 6/6/24: Gain insight into understanding uncomfortable emotions (Emotion Regulation) and expressing emotional needs

 

6/13/24: Discover how mindfulness skills can help you navigate challenging feelings of anxiety or depression with ease!

 

6/20/24: Embark on a Self-Identity Exploration (Self-esteem) experience that will elevate confidence and self-awareness to new heights!

 

6/27/24: How to establish and respect boundaries. Take charge of your interactions!

 

7/4/24: Find out how to take care of yourself and have fun at the same time! We'll cover mental, physical, and technology hygiene.

 

7/11/24: Let's delve into the world of defining relationships, making, and keeping friendships with plenty of warmth and empathy!

 

7/18/24: Engage in exciting team-building and problem-solving activities that enhance your skills and promote collaboration in a whole new way!

 

7/25/24: Get ready for a great school year ahead by exploring simple skills for organizing schedules and building healthy habits!

 

8/1/24: In our wrap-up session, we'll take a look back at all the awesome things we've learned together!
